It’s Election Day 2008. We Democrats are giving America a wake-up call. Wake up, America. In 2001, the oil companies, the war contractors and the neo-con artists seized the economy and have added 4 trillion dollars of unproductive spending to the national debt. We now pay four times more for defense, three times more for gasoline and home heating oil and twice what we paid for health care.

Millions of Americans have lost their jobs, their homes, their health care, their pensions. Trillions of dollars for an unnecessary war paid with borrowed money. Tens of billions of dollars in cash and weapons disappeared into thin air, at the cost of the lives of our troops and innocent Iraqis, while all the president’s oilmen are maneuvering to grab Iraq’s oil.

Borrowed money to bomb bridges in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. No money to rebuild bridges in America. Money to start a hot war with Iran. Now we have another cold war with Russia, while the American economy has become a game of Russian roulette.

If there was an Olympics for misleading, mismanaging and misappropriating, this administration would take the gold. World records for violations of national and international laws. They want another four-year term to continue to alienate our allies, spend our children’s inheritance and hollow out our economy.

We can’t afford another Republican administration. Wake up, America. The insurance companies took over health care. Wake up, America. The pharmaceutical companies took over drug pricing.

Wake up, America. The speculators took over Wall Street. Wake up, America. They want to take your Social Security. Wake up, America. Multinational corporations took over our trade policies, factories are closing, good paying jobs lost.

Wake up, America. We went into Iraq for oil. The oil companies want more. War against Iran will mean $10-a-gallon gasoline. The oil administration wants to drill more, into your wallet. Wake up, America. Weapons contractors want more. An Iran war will cost 5 to 10 trillion dollars.

This administration can tap our phones. They can’t tap our creative spirit. They can open our mail. They can’t open economic opportunities. They can track our every move. They lost track of the economy while the cost of food, gasoline and electricity skyrockets. They skillfully played our post-9/11 fears and allowed the few to profit at the expense of the many. Every day we get the color orange, while the oil companies, the insurance companies, the speculators, the war contractors get the color green.

Wake up, America. This is not a call for you to take a new direction from right to left. This is call for you to go from down to up. Up with the rights of workers. Up with wages. Up with fair trade. Up with creating millions of good paying jobs, rebuilding our bridges, ports and water systems. Up with creating millions of sustainable energy jobs to lower the cost of energy, lower carbon emissions and protect the environment.

Up with health care for all. Up with education for all. Up with home ownership. Up with guaranteed retirement benefits. Up with peace. Up with prosperity. Up with the Democratic Party. Up with Obama-Biden.

Wake up, America. Wake up, America. Wake up, America.

“We have found the weapon of mass destruction in Iraq. It is oil. As long as the oil companies control our government Americans will continue to pay and pay, with our lives, our fortunes our sacred honor.” Dennis Kucinich on the secret meetings in early 2001.

I am still not over George Carlin dying. I am pretty sad and depressed about it. Nothing I could say could fully pay tribute to him. He was a brilliant man with keen observations to life and he saw where this country was heading long before others did. He did literally change my life and my beliefs wether it was through a joke or him being serious I will never know. I wish I had the chance to meet him when he was in Clearwater a couple of years ago. I would have told him, and he would have thought I was an idiot.

His latest material.

Most of the material was what I heard freshly written and in rough at Ruth Eckard Hall.

Work has been really busy and rough lately. Lots of asshole customers wanting you to give them the world and more for stupid bullshit and when you can’t accomidate their demands you suck as a cs supervisior and should be fired. Fuck them all.

From The Chicago Tribune:

Rep. Dennis Kucinich, a former Democratic presidential contender, said Monday he wants the House to consider a resolution to impeach President Bush. Speaker Nancy Pelosi consistently has said impeachment was “off the table.”

Kucinich, D-Ohio, read his proposed impeachment language in a floor speech. He contended Bush deceived the nation and violated his oath of office in leading the country into the Iraq war.

Kucinich introduced a resolution last year to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney. That resolution was killed, but only after Republicans initially voted in favor of taking up the measure to force a debate.

Kucinich was on the House floor for over 4 hours citing 35 articles of impeachment and giving documented examples backing up his articles. If anything this will go on Bush’s historical record showing that he is the worst president in US history.

You can find out more details on Kucinich’s site here:
I urge you to write your Senators and Congressmen and ask them to support Dennis! You can write them here:

So I have decided to stop watching SNL. The last three weeks have been Oboma bashing and Hillary supporting political bullshit. I can understand one week anti Obama and another week anti Hillary, but they are obviously one sideed about it and going for the neo-con bullshit that Hillary is. it was bad enough that they made fun of Kucinich as much as they did, but I understood it because he was not popular and easy to make fun of. When I got home on Sunday I started watching the latest and I couldn’t even finish the opening segment. I had to shut off the TV, delete the recording, and remove SNL from my scheduled recordings from the DVR. No more. They aren’t even funny anymore, I don’t know why I even bother watching SNL.

The other day I made some vegan mac and cheeze, so yummy! I have been playing out making things for the camera. I have been trying to be instructional and informative and giving extra info the entire time for dry runs for when I am actually doing it for real once I have everything set for production. I need to get off my lazy ass and actually get the rest of the kitchen done soon.

Four of my items sold on E-bay. Three of them for a penny a piece, not much money but at least I am getting rid of junk. I have a few more things I want to put up there. I doubt I will get any money for them, but you never know. I have been surprised in the past what people will buy. I almost want to go to he thrift store and buy junk and sell it.

It seems like Karla talks to me less and less anymore. I don’t know what is going on. Today we talked for about 30 minutes at the most. I don’t understand it.

I finally got UMA to work with my home router on my blackberry. I had opened up the ports and did port forwarding and the whole nine yards. I had even forwarded the ports for ipsecpassthrough and nothing. Calling tmo was not much help either, I did all the troubleshooting they would have me do already. Last night I went through my router again, and I found some settings in a weird spot and one of those was allow ipsec so I checked it and after the router rebooted I was on UMA for the rest of the time. So hopefully that fixed it. Hopefully.

Well the 20 minutes that I thought it would take to replace my power supply has turned into a big mess. After getting it all installed it wouldn’t post. So I checked all connections, same. REmoved the CD and drive cables same. Did some more fumbing around and same. I was really tired so I went to bed. I didn’t wake up in the mood to mess with it so it is still there. When I get home tonight I need to strip it down to the trinity and see if it will post then. Then I will go from there to see what is fucked up. On top of that the nic in my laptop isn’t setting to gigabit, I uninstalled that and reinstalled and same. I even have it manually set to use gigabit full duplex and same.

I voted today. I voted for Kucinich. currently there are 97% of the polls reporting and he has 9,459 votes even though he annouced he is out of the race. I think that is pretty decent numbers for a man who the media wouldn’t give him a chance.

I am sad. I can’t say why just yet, but if I am thinking what I am thinking then it is going to be bad news. Bad bad news.

I have a massive headache right now. I don’t know why. It hurts so much I can’t even think.

This weekend comprised of a bunch of bah. Wednesday night the frame for my futon finally broke. I looked up frames on the Internet and they were going for around $60. I found the cheapest one at Target and on Thursday I headed up to Target to get it with some of my emergency money I had saved up. I looked down every row at Target and couldn’t find any and when I asked the help where their bed frames were she said that they don’t sell bed frames and looked at me like I was fucking crazy or from out of space. I then left and tried to figure out where to go. I decided to go to Clearwater Mattress and thought that there was one just South of Target on the corner there, I didn’t see it and I guess it was further North. I ended up at a sofa warehouse place on East Bay and they sold me one for $30. I was really happy that they sold it that cheap for me. I picked up something to eat and some dish soap and shampoo and went home and began to disassemble the old futon frame and clean all the crap that accumulated under the futon. I put together the new frame and the old futon part that was holding the mattress on the frame. It worked perfectly. It is really weird because the old futon used to move around and have some give whenever I sat down on it or moved around. This is really stiff and it is weird when you are used to it doing one thing and it isn’t doing that anymore.

On Friday I did a couple of batches of laundry and fixed a huge pot of pasta. I stuffed myself while watching Bill Maher. It was a half way decent episode this time.

My sidekick sold for $89. I was hoping for a little more than that, and for my other auctions to sell, but it is ok. I sold one of the camera cases I had too, and I am going to end up losing money on it, my cost of shipping was higher than I thought it would be and after paypal and ebay fees…

Anyway… I am deeply saddened because Kucinich was forced to drop out of his presidential race because there is shit going on to keep him from being a Congressman again. So that really sucks. I don’t know who to vote for anymore. Maybe I will still vote for him because I don’t want to throw my vote away voting for Hillary or Obama. Maybe I will still vote for him, maybe I will vote Gavel. I don’t know. I haven’t decided yet. I still have a couple of days to decide. I don’t know what the big deal is over Ron Paul, there are a few people here at work who would otherwise vote Democrat who are voting for him. Makes no sense. Makes no sense at all.

I love hunting accidents!

On Thursday I decided to go out and go to the beach. I decided I wanted to go to Clearwater Beach so I headed over there and had a nice drive. There was a lot of traffic and there was a lot of people there so I decided to head south on Gulf and go to a different beach.

I ended up at Treasure Island and there was hardly anybody there. The sunset was beautiful, there wasn’t many clouds in the sky and the weather was nice. When I was paying the meter, I guess I stepped on an ant hill and my feet were getting bitten up. I have a couple of blisters on my right foot now. I immediately headed to the water when I realized I was being bitten. The salt water washed out all the ants. When I first noticed the ants I thought that the ants were living in the shoes or in the trunk. It wasn’t until after I went back to my car that I looked at where the meter is and saw the ant hill by where my foot would have been.
^^See more by clicking on the picture^^

After watching the beautiful sunset I decided to get something to eat and so I drove to the Carmilitas next to my house. I had a veggie chimichanga. It was really good! After that I bought a quart of chocolate soy delicious and ate that when I got home.

Today has been a nothing day, spent it relaxing and wasting the day away. I did watch Black Snake Moan, which I have mixed feelings for. The music was good, and seeing Christina Ricci in almost nothing was good, but the story was kinda ehhhh.

Yesterday night I got an e-mail from a member of the DNC stating that Kucinich wanted me to be a candidate to be a delegate for the big DNC in Denver in Aug. I thought why not? so I filled out the forms and got them notarised today and mailed them off.

I am really excited that Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are doing new episodes starting Monday! They were both great! They spent most of their time talking about the writers issue and made it very clear so that a 5 year old could understand what the writers want and why. I am so glad that they are back! I missed them.

I got my I hunting accidents stickers yesterday. I am going to adorn my car with it and the other ones I got. Of course pictures are going to come as always!
