Hmm. It has been a while. A long while. That is what happens when you get lazy and stuff.
On Tuesday I flew down to Dallas and met with an old friend who I met back in 1999 on ICQ. She currently lives in Moraira, Spain and originally from Lima, Peru. I have always wanted to meet her and I finally got to. I want to go out to Spain to spend more time with her. We only had a few hours to talk because she was on a layover to go back home from vacationing with friends and family in Portland. It was way too short of a time, but I am glad after all these years we were finally able to meet face to face.
Before her plane landed I went to TGIfridays to have a fat tire and some lunch and the fat tire was flat and the food was way overcooked. I was very disappointed. I should have complained, but I was too tired to do so. I did fill out their feedback survey thing though.

The office moved us to a new building and so far I am on the fence about the new place. It is nice to get my own desk, but they didn’t’ have monitors or keyboard or mouse for me so they had to dig them up. I also don’t like where the monitors are placed, but there is nothing I can do about that since the keyboard and monitors are stationary. They put them in the middle of the desk and I would prefer them be at the end.

I think dad and I are going down to Texas on the 16th to go get some Fat Tire. I hope so. I might get a couple of cases and drink a 6 pack that night that we get back. I love me some Fat Tire. I might look for some Railyard Ale too, I would love to get some of that as well.

Well it has been a while since I have updated hasn’t it?

I have had the last 4 days off. Friday 11/11/11 was a federal holiday and so I took Turs off as well to make it a mini vacation. I had plans of getting a lot of things done, but didn’t get anything done at all. The rest was nice, but I needed to work on the house.

I just now found out that there is a MYtouch slide 4g. It has been out since July. I am behind the times. Fucking T-Mobile wants cash upfront, and no more partial months shit. Fuckers. So I need to come up with $275 for the phone.

Anyway. Things have started to get really cold here in Oklahoma. I don’t know how I am going to survive when it gets colder and starts to snow.

Oklahoma has been having a lot of earthquakes recently. It is really weird. I have never experienced an earthquake before and never heard of Oklahoma having any either. There was a 5.6 that I felt a week or so ago. I can mark that off my bucket list I guess. I have seen tornadoes, been through hurricaines, blizzards, ice storms, hail storms, 50+ days of 100+ degree tempatures and no rain, and earthquakes.

The kitties are getting along better and better. They have been playing with each other a lot lately, chasing each other around and stuff. Soon they will be best friends. I ahve been working on the toilet training with them. I am in the final stages of it. I have a metal pan in the toilet and have been working on getting them to use it in there. There have been a few times where it hasn’t been in the pan, but I think they are starting to warm up to it. I bought some litter that is suppsoed to be good for training kitties, called cat attract and once I know they are using the pan 100% I will replace it with the septic safe stuff and then start the process of slowly opening a hole in the pan until they are used to sitting on the seat. This has been the dificult process thus far because the pan and area is so small and one of them doesnt ‘understand it fully yet. They are such sweeties and so gentle. They are still a bit skiddish though. That will take some time though I think.

The other day Tammy and I went to the cake wrecks book signing thing. It was fun. I think that Tammy enjoyed it and was suprised at some of the cakes. She hasn’t been to the site yet, so all the cakes were new to her. It got her out of the house and stuff. We also went to the Whole Paycheck as well and I wish it wasn’t so far away because I would be going there instead of the Norman places if I could for my groceries. They have a much bigger selection and they have a deli as well. I wish that Natural Grocers put in a deli. It makes me sad that they didn’t.

Kim is coming out May 4-13th. I got a call from Tammy today and they bought the plane ticket while on the phone with me. I am not quite ready financially for her to come out, but she realizes that and understands I won’t be able to take much time off for her. She still has friends out here, and she says she can take the bus too, so that is good. It might set me back a bit with tfvc, but hopefully not. I am not planning on spending a lot of cash on her, not like I will have much anyway.

Today I found a great place to do my DVDs and cook book when they happen through createspace.com which is actually an Amazon back end. It is perfect because there are no setup fees and stuff. I also found a place that does ethical clothing as well. I am going to be using like 4 different companies to do my stuff for this site. Hopefully it will not get too convoluted.

I wish I could have them all go through one source, or at least one payment portal, but that would be in a dream world. I am thinking about moving my other sites off of cafepress and onto zazzle. I need to log into cafepress and see if I can download the originals, I don’t think I have them anywhere anymore. I need to search when I get home to see if I have them.

From The Chicago Tribune:

Rep. Dennis Kucinich, a former Democratic presidential contender, said Monday he wants the House to consider a resolution to impeach President Bush. Speaker Nancy Pelosi consistently has said impeachment was “off the table.”

Kucinich, D-Ohio, read his proposed impeachment language in a floor speech. He contended Bush deceived the nation and violated his oath of office in leading the country into the Iraq war.

Kucinich introduced a resolution last year to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney. That resolution was killed, but only after Republicans initially voted in favor of taking up the measure to force a debate.

Kucinich was on the House floor for over 4 hours citing 35 articles of impeachment and giving documented examples backing up his articles. If anything this will go on Bush’s historical record showing that he is the worst president in US history.

You can find out more details on Kucinich’s site here:

I urge you to write your Senators and Congressmen and ask them to support Dennis! You can write them here:

So I am back to work. This week went by really fast and I wish I was still on vacation. I didn’t do anything except lay around the apartment for the most part.

My mom and her husband was down visiting in Orlando this week and she went to Tampa on Wed and we went to Busch Gardens. Since I have a platinum pass I saved them a bunch of money with ticket discounts and food discounts. I think that they appreciated it. I made the best of it and had a good time despite them wanting to see the x-mas music stuff. I did get to see the Katanga performance again. I really like it, oh and we did see an ice skating thing that was pretty cool because of some of the tricks and stuff that the skaters did. The one thing that really impressed me was when the guy grabbed on to the girls foot and spun her around for what seemed like a minute. He was spinning her pretty fast.

getting dizzy?

I saw a really pretty dress there I wanted to get Karla but I thought that a small would have been the size to fit her and they were out of smalls. I am going to go back in a couple of weeks and hope that they are in stock at the time.

There was also turtles being cute too!!

cute turtles!

I had a pretty good time with them, My mother’s husband’s friends were there and so that made it a bit better since I had conversations with them as well. It was a pretty good day to go on the rides, it wasn’t that crowded being so close to x-mas so that made it enjoyable too.

I can’t believe this year is almost up. It has definitely flown by fast. The other day I was thinking about the year, and how it doesn’t seem that long ago that I was in school. I don’t remember if it was a commercial or what made me thinking like this but I was thinking about how in the late eighties early nineties I thought that the 60s was a really long time ago. So here it is 20 years from 1998 almost and that puts it at the approximate same time that the sixties were. The 80s now is where the sixties were at that time. It really gave me some thought into how old I actually am and how the eighties music I listened to would now be considered oldies. metallica and Slayer on the oldies station! Unbelievable.

If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way.
– Bertrand Russell

Fantasy football officially starts tommorow. The first game was realy on Thurs and I did pretty good on that game. I had Payton Manning as QB and he had a pretty good game. We will see what tommmorw brings.

I saw Ghost Dog the other day, it was really good. I expecially loved the soundtrack. It was great! I am going to have to watch it again soon. I think it deserves a few watches to get it going.

Ghost Dog

I watched Zeitgeist – The Movie: Federal Reserve yesterday. It was a real eye opener for sure. It talks about the creation and history of the Federal Reserve and how bankers love war and have forsed the US involvement in the World Wars and Vietnam and even goes into 9/11. It was shocking in a lot of ways. I found that after reading about The Amero and how Bushie has recently moved to sign something to make The US, Mexico, and Canada into one union. It is pretty interesting and I can see the good and bad about it, and if it is done right can be like Europe, but big buissness and the banks are going to deffinately going to make a lot of money off of it. It would open up the borders and help the Mexicans as well I think. That way it will be easier for them to come here and get good jobs.

What do you think?
